The search function allows you to search for a bar/club utilizing the following criteria: location, bar/club type, and additional qualifications. You can make multiple selections for each of these categories. The more selections you make in Location and Bar/Club Type, a higher number of results will be displayed. However, the more selections you make in Additional Qualifications, a lower number of results will be displayed.
These are establishments that fall under the category of a place to eat and a place to drink, For your convenience, these profiles will be displayed in both the restaurants section and the bars/club section.
To be completely honest, we really weren’t sure where to put these profiles. In the end, we felt that these venue are an important component of experiencing Milwaukee and should not be left out of the website.
The Browse page displays all of the bars/clubs listed on our website in alphabetical order. However, when you first click on the Browse link, the establishments will be displayed in Random Order.

Event Questions

To comment on the message board, you must be a member that is logged in and viewing the event.
Become a member and then click on the RSVP link on the event profile.

You can search events by category, name, and day. You can sort these results by date, most popular, and newest by clicking on the appropriate circle.
To invite people to an event, you must either have created the event, or confirmed a public event. There is a white link on the right side of the event page titled “Invite Guests”. Click this link and we’ll guide you through the rest.
Can’t follow through on your word, huh? To delete an event, simply click the Edit Event link on the event’s profile. There will be a DELETE EVENT button on the bottom of this page.
When you are viewing the event profile while logged in, you will see a link that says “Edit Event”. Click on this link and we’ll guide you through the rest.
When you are viewing an event that you confirmed and are logged in, click on the “Add Photos” white link on the right side of the event profile.

Local Listing is an online classifieds community exclusive to Milwaukee. When you click on Local Listings, you will be able to buy/sell/trade virtually anything imaginable (Note: it must be legal). Just click on Local Listings and try it out – we think you’ll be delightfully surprised.
No, you do not have to be a member of Milwaukee Happy Hour to use Local Listings. You are able to view, buy, or sell any product without revealing your identity or becoming a member.

To create a post, find the appropriate category and subcategory for this posting. Once you are on this page, there will be a “Post” link on the upper right side. Click on this link, and we’ll guide you through the rest.
If your posting category allows pictures, there will be a “Add Image” link on the bottom of the post page. Just click this link and you will be able to select up to 4 photos to upload for your post.
After creating a post, Milwaukee Happy Hour will send you a confirmation e-mail. Click on the link within the confirmation e-mail, and it will take you to a page that will allow you to Publish, Edit, or Delete your post.
Your confirmation e-mail was sent to the e-mail address you submitted when creating a post. Please check your Spam folder/setting and allow incoming e-mails from Milwaukee Happy Hour. If you still did not receive your post, please try and make a new posting.

To register, simply click on the “Register” link found below the Member Login box on the left side of the homepage, or in the Members section. We will guide you through the rest.
No. Only people you have accepted as a Friend will be able to see your profile information. Everyone else will only see your name and your small profile picture.
I don’t know. You might want to click on the “Forgot Password” link found on the login page. I’m sure it will guide you through the rest.
To change your password, simply login and click on the white “Account” link found on the upper right side of the Members section.
Why would you want to do that?!? OK, good point. To deactivate your account, click on the “Account” link and then you will see a link that will allow you to deactivate your account.
To find your friends on Milwaukee Happy Hour, you can click on the Browse or Search links. The Browse page will allow you to search specific criteria for meeting people (i.e. Sex, Age, Relationship Status, Seeking, etc.). You can sort the results by Recently Updated, Last Login, New to Milwaukee Happy Hour, and Random. The Search page will allow you to search for a specific person. Type in all or part of your friends name, and if they are registered on this site, their profile will appear in the results.
You have to be friendly.
When you find a person that you want to add as a friend, click on the “Add to Friends” link on the right side of the results page. A friend request will be sent to this person asking them to confirm your friendship. As soon as they confirm the friendship, you will be able to view their profile and they will be able to view yours.
No. They will not find out if you deny a request.
They will not be notified, however, they will no longer be able to view your profile information and you will no longer be able view their information. So, they’ll pretty much figure it out.
“Right Now” is a feature that allows you to let their friends know what you are doing.
“Plans” are a way of informing members when and where you will be partying.
To edit your profile, login and click on the “Edit Profile” link. You will be taken to a page that will allow you to edit your information, photos, and profile picture.
There are several ways to send messages on Milwaukee Happy Hour. The first option is to find the profile of the person who you would like to message. Next to their profile information is a “Send Message” link. This link will take you to a compose message page for that particular person. Another option is to click on the “Messages” link and then click on the white “Compose” link on the upper right side. Then select the person or establishment you want to message from the drop down box. Note: you can only send a message to your “Friends” using this option.
Hugs & Kisses are a way of expressing your affection towards another member.
High Fives are a way of sending your friends a care-free cyber High Five.
Kicks are a way of expressing yourself among your friends. Kicks can be a good thing, a bad thing, or just a plain old flirt. Good answer, huh?
Why would you want to change your name? If you have a good reason, send us an email with your request at: info@milwaukeehappyhour.com. We will review your request and in most cases allow the change.
To turn off your email notifications, login and click on the “Account” link. At the bottom of this page you will be able to turn on and off all of your email notifications.
Don’t talk to strangers. But seriously, don’t put personal information on your profile unless you want ALL of your friends to see it. Also, be cautious as to who you add as a friend – there’s a lot of creepy people out there.

To block someone, login and click on the white “Privacy” link. Find the person you want to block and click the “Block” link on the right side of their profile information.
Blocking someone will stop them from contacting you. Your profile will not show up in any of their search results.

To create an album, login and click on the “Photos” link. Click on the CREATE ALBUM button and we’ll guide you through the rest.
To change your profile picture, login and click on the “Edit Profile” link and then click on the “Profile Picture” tab on the top right side.
To delete photos of yourself, click on the “Photos” link. This will take you to a page that will allow you to delete photos added by you and added by others.
You can upload as many photos as you want.
To tag people in photos and add captions you must first create an album. After the album is created, click on the “Photos” link and then the “Edit” link next to the album. This will take you to a page that will allow you to tag people and add captions.
It depends. When creating an album you will have the option of making the album visible to some of your friends (who you can select) or all of your friends. Also, you can make your photos “Public” by keeping the “Make Public” box checked. This will display your photo on the main page in the “Recently Added” photos section. You can remove this from the main page at anytime by deselecting the “Make Public” checkbox next to each photo.

To join a group, login and click on the “Groups” link. Then, select “All Groups” in the View drop down to browse all groups. When you find a group you like, click the “Join Group” link on the right side of the group results page. Depending on the group settings, you will either automatically become a member of this group or you will send a request to join the group (which must be approved by the group administrator).
To create a group, login and click on the “Groups” link. At the bottom of this page is a CREATE GROUP button that will allow you to create a group. Click on this button and we’ll guide you through the rest.
Every group on Milwaukee Happy Hour is categorized under one of the following privacy settings: Open (anyone can join the group and invite others to join – all information, posts, and photos will be visible to everyone), Closed (administrative approval is required to join – only members of the group will be able to view information, posts, and photos. Non-members will only be able to view the information), and Private (these groups will not appear in search results, or in the profiles of its members. Membership is by invitation only, and only members will be able to view the group).
To edit a group, you must be the group creator or an administrator. Login and click the “Groups” link. All groups that you have created or are an administrator in will have an “Edit” link next to its profile. Click on this link, and we’ll guide you through the rest.
At this time, you are not able to delete a group. You may leave a group by clicking on the “Quit Group” link next to a group’s profile. If you are the only member of a group and leave the group, the group will be deleted from Milwaukee Happy Hour.
You must be a member of the group in order to add photos to the group. To add photos to a group, login and click on the “Groups” link. Click on the group’s profile, and click the white “Add Photo” link on the ride side of the group profile.
